Thought for the Week.

Daniel | July 15, 2008

It is my belief that whereas the twentieth century has been a century of war and untold suffering, the twenty-first century should be one of peace and dialogue. As the continued advances in information technology make our world a truly global village, I believe there will come a time when war and armed conflict will be considered an outdated and obsolete method of settling differences among nations and communities.

A few quick notes inside!

First, I’d like to wish a happy birthday to my cats - Mulch and Megan.  They both turn 6 this week - Mulch on the 14th, and Megan on the 16th.  This always confuses me, because Megan is the one I got first - Mulch arrived 2 days later.

This has been (and will be) a busy week for me.  I’m training for a new job, and have family in town.  On the bright side, the number of ideas for posts hasn’t slowed down, so once I get into a grove schedule-wise, I’ve got a lot of great stuff I want to share with you!
For now, I’ll leave you with these pictures of Mulch and Megan, the way they looked when they came into my life…
